Deborah Ford-Rundell

Deborah was born October 18, 1958. She left home at age 15 but did not let that keep her from continuing her education. She graduated Cum Laude from WTA&M University in 1995. She was a member of Alpha Chi. She moved to Dallas in 1999 and taught elementary school while living there. She returned to Amarillo in 2004. She loved the arts and was an inspiration to everyone around her. Her life revolved around children and she volunteered at a local children’s home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan and one brother, Kenneth Ford.
She is survived by her son Ryan Rundell; two sisters, Lisa Zang of Hewitt, Tx and Nancy Bryant of Amarillo; two brothers, Darrell Ford of Amarillo and Ronald Ford of Louin, Mississippi, and her father and stepmother, Buddy and Nancy Ford of Amarillo and her dog Chili, who adored her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any privately-owned home for abused and neglected children or the Amarillo Public Library.
