Deborah Lynn Reilly

Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Reilly, age 67 of Amarillo, died March 19, 2023 in Amarillo.

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 S. Coulter.  Celebrant will be Rev. John Valdez.  Inurnment will be at Llano Cemetery.

Debbie was born May 4, 1955 in Amarillo to her parents, Jack Lee and Joyce Ann Keller Pope.  She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1973 and was a member of St. Thomas.  For over thirty years Debbie served as the personal assistant to Joe and Arlene Poole.  She adored her family especially her grandchildren they called her Meméré.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband Tom in 2019.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Amy Amason and her partner Jason Clarke, and Amber Vaughn and her partner Dak Kosechata; her sisters, Linda Pope and Cherie Pope; her brother, Jack Pope and his wife Trisha all of Amarillo; and her five grandchildren, Jordan, Jacklyn, Bryson, Reegan, Shaylyn.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Downtown Women’s Center 409 S Monroe St, Amarillo, Texas 79101 or St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 S. Coulter Amarillo, Texas 79121 and BSA Hospice of the Southwest  5211 SW 9th Ave Suite 100, Amarillo, TX 79106.
