Debra Ann Delgado, 40, of Amarillo died July 8, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2012 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 8425 South Bell with Pastor Richard Dye officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Debra was born December 29, 1971 to Roy and Janie Soto. She completed her teaching degree from WTAMU and taught at Forest Hill Elementary School as a bilingual teacher. Debra enjoyed gospel singing, playing softball, and being creative. She was faithful, teaching children about the word during church in children’s ministry. Her faith remained strong all the way to the end, never asking, Why?
Debra is preceded in death by her Daughter, Anastasia Duran, her father, Roy Soto, and Grandmother, Juanita Alonzo
She is survived by her husband, Luis Delgado, her children, Yasmine, Isela, and Luis Delgado, Jr., Her sisters, Janie Diaz and Veronica Tu both of Amarillo, her brothers, Roy Soto, of Amarillo, Paul Soto of Cedar Park, Manuel Macias, Enrique Macias, Antonio Macias, Juan Macias, Eddie Macias, Fernando Macias, Arturo Macias, Alejandro Macias all of San Antonio and Her mother, Janie Macias and husband Robert of Amarillo.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6:00 – 7:00 at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorials be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church, Children’s Ministry, 8425 South Bell.
