Debra Kay Jones, 63, of Amarillo, died Saturday, February 6, 2016.

Mrs. Jones was born June 25, 1952 in Yuma, Arizona to Dwaine and Evelyn Johnson. She attended high school at Modesto, CA. She married Dan Jones on September 20, 1990 in Modesto, CA. Debra had a heart for special needs and was passionate about her work as a job coach for those with special needs. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, Timothy and Charles Johnson.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband Dan Jones of the home; three daughters, Annette Dickerson of Modesto, CA, Kimberly Dickerson of Ceres, CA, and Angie Dupree an husband Robert of Dumas; one son, Daniel Jones of Turlock, CA; two sisters, Ruby Walls of Empire, CA, and Patricia Badgett of Modesto, CA; and one brother, Dwaine Johnson of Tracy, CA; nine grandchildren, Magan Mejia and Autumn Sherwood, both of Modesto, CA, Victoria Payne of Baton Rouge, LA, Nathan Grimes of Dumas, Nicholas Dupree of Amarillo, Kyle, Haley, Faith and Amie Dupree, all of Dumas; three great-grandchildren, Nichol and A.J. Mejia, and Liam Sherwood, all of Modesto, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
