Dennis Gene Beebe

Dennis Gene Beebe, 65, of Amarillo passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Monday, April 2, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Dennis was born May 27, 1952 in Borger to Zane and Pauline Beebe. He is a graduate from Phillips High School, Class of 1970. He retired from Conoco Phillips after 40 plus years of service. On November 6, 1982 Dennis married Sandra Dietz. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Panhandle Gun Collectors, St. Thomas Men’s Club, Young in Spirit and an Usher at St. Thomas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Sandra Beebe of Amarillo; two daughters, Christi Griffin and husband Geoff of Aledo and Sara Schemm and husband Jeremy of Amarillo; a son, Jeff Maynard and wife Tiffini of Amarillo; a brother, Danny Beebe and wife Sabrina of Piedmont, OK; and six grandchildren, Rhett, Jake and Will Maynard, Nathan and Grace Griffin, and Jackson Schemm.
