Dennis was born on January 21, 1955 in Borger, Texas to D.A. and Dorothy Brower. He moved to Amarillo in 1960. He went to Palo Duro High School until he joined the U.S. Army. He served for five years with an Honorable Discharge in 1978. He then went to work for Santa Fe Railroad until he retired. He met his wife Jan at Turkey Texas Bob Wills Day. They were married for 39 years. Dennis was a good father to his stepdaughter, Kelley Riney and his son, Dennis Andrew Brower and husband to his wife Jan. He enjoyed killing prairie dogs and cooking out with his family.
He is survived by his wife Jan; his son, Drew; his stepdaughter Kelley; his sister Ann Davis and husband Ronnie of Oklahoma City; his brother-in-law Glenn Meyers and wife Gail of Lubbock; and many nieces and nephews.
