Devin Lance Martinez

Devin was born January 22nd in Amarillo.  Although his time with us was short, he showed an extraordinary personality and life.  He was the strongest child we have ever seen or known and he showed more heart in 19 days then most do in a full lifetime.  Devin will be loved and missed; but we take comfort knowing he is in the arms of another who has called him home. Survivors include his parents; a sister, Elizabeth; grandparents, Curtis and Vickie Emert of Floydada, TX and Eutimio, Jr. and Mary Martinez of  Floydada, TX; great-grandparents, Cora Mae Emert of Dougherty, TX and Sabina Martinez of Lubbock, TX;  and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family suggests that any memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1501 Steirt, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
