Diane was born January 12, 1954, in Hays, KS, to Joseph Lynn Sr and Lila Marie (Bigger) Driver. She graduated from Lamar High School in Lamar, CO, in 1973. She married the man of her dreams and the hottest baseball player ever on August 25, 1973, in Montezuma Creek, UT.
They were blessed with much family but welcomed their only child Jennifer in 1975.
Diane and Terry perfectly complemented each other and took great care of each other in sickness and health.
Diane was passionate about family and loved them all fiercely. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed, accepted, and valued. Her personality radiated. Her laughter was unmistakable and delightful, but nobody could bring a smile to her face or light up her eyes better than her granddaughter, Berkley. Diane gave of herself sacrificially and always put others first. She had a beautiful, loving soul, and we will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her dad in 1992, her mom in 2017, and her beloved husband in 2019.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and husband, Stephen Muncy of Amarillo; her granddaughter Berkley Muncy of Amarillo: a brother Joseph Lynn Driver Jr and wife, Rita of Harper, KS; a niece, Amber Baker, and husband Jason: three great nephews and a great niece and one great-great nephew; her Aunt Christeen Driver, Uncle Charles Vaughn, and so many dear cousins and friends.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the High Plains Childrens Home, https://www.hpch.org/giving.
