Donia Yphon (Morrow) Caldwell, age 78 of Amarillo, Texas passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Donia’s talents were many, she was creative in all aspects of her life, seamstress, loved making art, playing bridge, and creating a warm and lovely home. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who loved spending time with her family. She was generous of spirit and will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents H.C. and Ola Oletha Morrow and granddaughter Megan Hendrix. Donia is survived by her three daughters Sheriece Ford-Strickland and husband Larry of Albuquerque, NM, Meshell Ford-Moore and husband David of Amarillo, TX, and Carla Ford of Austin, TX. Grandchildren, Sheridon & Dave Rennaker and their children Alissa & Carson of Spokane, WA and Abbigayle & Austin Diericx and the imminent birth of their daughter Brinnley of Haslet TX, great-granddaughters Jordan & Jimi Hendrix of Amarillo, TX., sisters, Judy & Bill Byrd of Thousand Oaks, CA and Cara & Peter McKay of Lonewolf, OK. Three nieces, one nephew, and two great-nephews.
A private family service will be held in Wellington, Texas on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
