Donnell “Don” Ioor 82, of Amarillo died August 4, 2013.
Graveside Services will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2013 with Pastor Sean Smith of Westover Fellowship United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Don was born April 18, 1931 to Johnnie and Fannie Ioor in Lakeview, Texas. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was stationed in North Africa. Later, he obtained a degree in Ophthalmology, and was a member of the American Ophthalmology Association. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Amarillo Corvette Club.
Don was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Patsy.
He is survived by his special friends Gary and Sharon Pilgrim, his four-legged friend, TJ, and many
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorials be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, PO Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.
