Doris J. Cooley

Doris Jo Cooley, 91, of Amarillo died Friday, June 1, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2018 at Washington Avenue Christian Church, 3800 S. Washington St. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Texas 79110.

Doris was born February 17, 1927 in Krum, Texas to Joe and Lillie Bickle.

She loved roses and working in her garden. Her greatest gift was her children and grandchildren.

Doris is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Christina Ann and Jessica Rose Cooley.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Cooley Gonzales and Ginger Cooley Williams and husband, Shannon; a son, Brent Cooley; grandchildren, Misty Cooley Labonte and husband, Kevin, Kala Bunn, Taylor Williams Hudspeth and husband, Tyler and Brady Williams; two great-grandchildren, Dillon Labonte and Zachary Labonte; brother, Jerry Bickle and wife, Lu; sister, Janice Collins; niece, Kim Collins Dietz; and nephews, Bill Collins and Stan Bickle.
