Doris M. Poole age 84, of Amarillo went to be with the Lord February 14, 2012 in Amarillo.
Graveside Services will be Thursday, February 16, 1012 at Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum at 10:00 AM. Rev. Ken Cole of St. Stephen United Methodist Church will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Doris was born September 27, 1927 in Iowa Park, TX to Charles E. and Lottie Lucille Morrison. She married William A. “Bill” Poole Jr on September 2, 1954 in Clovis, NM. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Doris was a long time member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Doris is lovingly survived by two sons, Joe Charles Poole and his wife Lucy of Hedley, TX and Forrest Poole of Amarillo ; two daughter, Carole Poole and Pam Haas Garcia and her husband Bobby all of Amarillo; Seven Grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be made to your favorite charity.
