Doris J. Robbins Schrader, 85 of Cibolo, TX died Thursday, December 17, 2015. Memorial services will be held 4PM Sunday, December 27th, 2015 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S Georgia, Amarillo, TX. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Doris was born in Shamrock, on November 11, 1930. She was a graduate of Amarillo High. Doris worked as the office manager for Panhandle Engineering for 23 years. After her retirement, she spent eight years in Saudi Arabia with her husband Bobby Robbins. They returned to Amarillo, in 1987. After Bobby passed in 1989, Doris moved to Hide-a-way Lake. There she met Ken Schrader and they were married in February 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and son Douglas Lee Robbins in 1997.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth D. Schrader, of Cibolo, TX; daughter Janet and husband Carey Coffman of Amarillo; granddaughters, Ky Coffman of Charleston, SC and Heather and husband Travis Barger of Oklahoma City, OK; two great-granddaughters Ava and Brooklyn Barger of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother R D “Doug” Barron and wife Debbie of Amarillo; Two nieces, Cindy Miller and Mandy Barron and one nephew Rick Barron
