Dorotha Lee Crawford, 96, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Randy Davis, pastor of Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Mrs. Crawford was born on September 29, 1919 to John Dillard and Verna Leona Morrison in Memphis, TX. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and cooking. She enjoyed playing card games, dominoes, especially 42 with her daughter’s friends at Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly. She was a member of Bell Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clyde Crawford; two sons, Bobby Crawford and Keith Crawford; and daughter Carolyn Blackwell.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by four grandchildren: Stacy Mondt and husband Joe of Savannah, GA; Shanda Hurt and husband Chris of Little Elm, TX; Scott Blackwell and wife Stacy of Albuquerque, NM and Steven Blackwell of Amarillo, TX; and eight great grandchildren, Haley, Claire and Ella Blackwell of Albuquerque, NM; Mark, Mercy and Micah Mondt of Savannah, GA; and Chandler and Brooklyn Hurt of Little Elm, TX.
A visitation for friends and family will be 6:00-7:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Schooler Funeral home.
