Dorothy Lee Patton

Memorial  Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7 at Hillside Christian Church Chapel with Rev. Roy S. Wheeler and Rev. Mike Nuthman officiating. Entombment will be private.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Mrs. Patton was born February 15, 1923, in LaDonia, Texas.  She married Jack F. Patton in 1954.  “Dottie” was a hairdresser for over fifty years owning, Lady B Lovely Beauty Shop for forty years.She was an avid dancer, member of the Whirlybirds, 45 and Uppers, and Journeyman Sunday School class.  She also enjoyed water skiing and entertaining family and friends.  Dottie was crowned Ms. Sr. Amarillo in 2004.She was preceded in death by her husband and son.Survivors include two daughters, Diane McFather of Amarillo and Joelyn Whitling of Odessa; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.The family requests memorials to Hillside Christian Church, 6100 Soncy, Amarillo, TX 79119.
