Dorothy Ann Pinkerton

Dorothy Ann Pinkerton, age 93, was welcomed home by the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 1:23 AM.
Dorothy was born in Austin, Texas on October 3, 1920 to Charles and Rose Mallett. She married Marvin Pinkerton who preceded her in death on July 3, 1962.
Dorothy worked as secretary of Central Church of Christ for thirty five years until her retirement in November 1997.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and her daughter, Donna K. Bernard in 2007.
Dorothy is lovingly survived by her daughter, Judi Odom of Abilene, TX; her son, Ken Pinkerton of Amarillo; her sisters Ann Crawley and Carolyn Gerkin; her brother C.B. Mallett; by her seven grandchildren, Heather, Hollie, Shawn, Juli, Todd, Kai, Sophie; twenty three great grandchildren; and by one great-great grandson.
The family will receive guests at the funeral home tonight from 6pm until 7pm
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Central Church of Christ. Mr. Dick Marcear of the Church of Christ at the Colonies will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
