Dwight "Nish" Nishiyama

Dwight “Nish” Nishiyama, 73, of Amarillo died November 20, 2018.

Graveside inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Nish was born August 20, 1945 in Grand Rapids, MI to Kunio Nishiyama and Delsie Sheets. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Nish owned and operated a salon for over 35 years and worked as a Licensed Cosmetologist.

He is preceded in death by his son, Nish Nishiyama on December 23, 1999; and his partner, Debbie Finck on April 23, 2015.

Nish is survived by daughters, Nasha Nishiyama and Ashley Finck both of Amarillo; sister, Ruth Nishiyama of Grand Rapids, MI; brother, Spencer Nishiyama of Albuquerque, NM; and 6 grandchildren, Darrien Gonzales, Jeremy Miller, Jr. , Jalen Miller, Tera Stroud, Dominic Dorsey and A.J. Dorsey.
