Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 30, 2012 at Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loran Harper, senior minister officiating. A private burial will be held at Llano Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6:30-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Eddie was born July 24, 1939 in Hollis, OK to L.F. and Nancy Wynn. Mr. Wynn grew up on the family farm and worked there until he married Barbara Ann Lee at age 17.
Eddie’s professional career was involved with the automotive industry working with Gates Rubber, Allied Tire, and was the owner/operator and President of Texas Tire & Tube which he started in 1986 which is still in business today. Eddie was very active in the community and was a member of the Comanche Trail Church of Christ, was a board member of the Tri-State Fairgrounds, member of the Coors Cowboy Club, and was Vice President of the Amarillo Tea Party.
Eddie was a family man who took great pride in his sibling’s, children’s, grandchildren’s, and nieces’ and nephews’ lives.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Wynn and 4 brothers and sisters.
Eddie married Ms Shirley LaLonde on October 22, 2010.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Wynn of Amarillo; two children, Keith Wynn and wife Elaine; and Cindy Hall and husband Chris; three grandchildren, Katheryn Brown and husband Mike, Jon Hall and fiancé Autumn Stuckey, and Eric Wynn and wife Crystal, two great grandchildren, Sister Joyce Scott and husband Mid; many nieces, nephews, friends, and business associates.
