Edna Schuster, 88, of Amarillo died Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Rev. Rob Blum, Pastor of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Edna was born March 29, 1927 in Amarillo to Franklin and Jessie Russell. She married Harris Schuster on April 12, 1945 in Yreka, CA. Not only was she a homemaker, she was also a bookkeeper for Appliance Service Center for 15 years. Later, she owned Athletic Shirt and Lettering. She was active in the community. She was a member of Odd Fellows and a past State President of Rebekahs, Queen of the Plains Rebekahs #276, past President of the Department Association L. A. P. M. Texas, the DAV Auxiliary, as well as a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harris Schuster; one daughter, Jesse Earthman; two sons, Terry and Tony Schuster; and one brother, Edwin Russell.
Survivors include her son, Tim and his wife, Betty, of Amarillo; two foster daughters, Serena Patterson, and Tonya Artola, of Port Arthur; 16 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-7:00 Monday, May 11, 2015.
Memorials may be given to BSA Hospice.
