Edward Flores

Edward Flores, 28, of Amarillo died April 24, 2018 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

A rosary will be said at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N. Spring St. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Edward was born December 11, 1989 to Artemio and Alejandra Flores. He earned a BA in Engineering from Texas Tech University and was employed at Pantex as a Mechanical Engineer.

He was a great father, brother and son. Edward was always someone you could count on. He would do anything for anyone without question. He was a great co-worker and humble, always cracking jokes and smiling. Edward had the kindest heart and was a wonderful friend to all.

Edward enjoyed fishing, camping and taking his son to the movies. His beloved dog, Hercules was always with him.

Edward is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonardo and Maria Socorro Flores, and Ramon Gomez Heredia.

He is survived by his parents, Artemio and Alejandra Flores; son, Edward Flores II; siblings, Artemio Flores and wife, Mayela, Irasema Gonzalez and husband Javier, and Alexa Flores; nieces, Suraya Flores, Auriahna Flores, Annalyse Gonzalez, Milania Flores; and nephews, Artemio Flores, Jr. and Izan Gonzalez.
