Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph Tash as the celebrant. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 6:00PM-7:30PM at the funeral home.
Edwina was born June 30, 1924 in Corrales, New Mexico to Jacob and Ambrosina Casados. She married Emerson Bell in 1945 in Dumas, Texas. They had four sons and one daughter. She has been a long time resident of Amarillo.
Preceded in death by her husband Emerson Doyle Bell Sr.; her son, John Bell who passed August 20, 2010; her parents, and three brothers.
Edwina is survived by her daughter, Cindy Melton and husband, Larry of Amarillo; her sons, Jack Bell and wife Cathy, George Bell and wife, Sherral, Emerson Bell and wife, Sandra all of Amarillo; daughter-in-law, Becky Bell of Amarillo; sister, Velma Tyler and husband, Doug; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
