Elena Frausto

Elena Frausto was born to Jose and Florencia Fausto on April 12, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas. She left us to be with our Lord on April 7, 2018.

Rosary will be said 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.  Inurnment will follow at Llano Cemetery.

Elena will best be remembered for her tangible love and commitment to her family and friends. Her legacy has positively impacted all our lives with her warm, caring and giving spirit. She will also be well remembered for her talent of cooking. She was an excellent cook. She has always been involved in the ministry of helping, caring for and serving others. She had a unique sense of humor and was the icebreaker of most conversations. She lived and loved well. We will miss her dearly and will forever remember Elena in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Florencia Frausto; her sister, Amelia Preciado; her brother, Michael Frausto; and her grandchild, Paul Luis Gonzales.

Elena is survived by her brothers, Raymond Frausto, Tino Frausto, Benny Frausto and Ricky Frausto, all of Amarillo; her four sisters,  Julia Frausto, Margie Silva, Toni Escamilla and Josephina Campos, all of Amarillo;  her six children, Joe Gonzales, Paul Gonzales, Corena Johnson, Pete Gonzales Jr., John Joseph Preciado and Tino Frausto; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
