Mrs. Rhea was born in Mingus, Texas to Adolph and Effie Lee Telchik on November 22, 1934. She married Oran Rhea on Feb. 14, 1953 in Tahoka. Mrs. Rhea worked as an LVN for many years before going to work at Dunlaps where she worked for over ten years before retiring.
Mrs. Rhea was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and was very active in the church activities until her health prevented her.
She is survived by her husband, Oran; two sons, Royce Rhea and wife Katie of Franklin, TN and John Rhea and wife, Donna of Lubbock; two daughters, Janis Polson and husband Zane, formally of Sunray and Lanis Graham and husband Ky of Friona; three brothers, Buddy Telchik and wife Pat of O’Donnell, James Telchik and wife Sherry of Lamesa and Kenneth Telchik and wife Donna of Keller; thirteen grandchildren, Chris and wife Amy Rhea, Jennifer Rhea, Micah Henderson, Marca and husband Charlie McCallie, Erika and Matthew Rhea, Kyla, Krista and Kaison Graham, Taylor and Benjamin Rhea and Loran and Jessica Polson; two great-grandchildren, Aspen and Colt McCallie.
