Elmo E Hill, age87 of Amarillo died September 3, 2015 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The REV. Brian J. Hesse of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Elmo was born August 25, 1928 in Texola, OK to Earl and Ethel Hill. He married Sylvia Lenaburg on March 4, 1954, in Bessie, Okla. They couple shared their lives together until her death in 2004.
He worked for Caterpillar as in sales for over 20 years. Elmo served on the board of Amarillo Federal Credit Union and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sylvia; his brother, Robert Edwin Hill and a sister Sally Mae Alexander.
Survivors include a cousin Billy Hill of Sayre and many other loving cousins and family members.
The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home, P.O. Box 7448, Amarillo, TX 79114-7448.
