Eloise Jean Craven

Eloise Jean Craven, age 85 of Amarillo, died in Richardson, Texas on February 28, 2025.

The family invites anyone to stop by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia, on Friday, March 7, 2025, to pay your respects and sign the guest book.

A memorial mass will be at St. Hyacinth's Catholic Church on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Eloise was born, along with her twin sister, Elizabeth Ann, in Memphis, Texas, on May 19, 1939, to her parents John Jack and Lucille Bourland Williams. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1958. In 1959, she married Jerry Craven at St. Laurence Catholic Church.

Eloise had a kind, gentle heart. She loved to cook and sew and care for the neighborhood animals. She usually had quite a "herd" that she faithfully fed. She was fun-loving and always made the world a little brighter and she was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a half sister, Leota Browder; a niece, Leslie Marie Frey; and her loving canine companion, Trixie.

Jerry, her loving husband of sixty seven years; her twin sister Elizabeth Ann Harbin; her nephew Charles Edwin Vinson and his wife Rachel; many loving great nieces and nephews; and her kitty Tinkerbell survive her.
