Elsie Jackson, 79, of Amarillo died December 14, 2014.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Pastor Rick Enns officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Elsie was born April 4, 1935 to Curtis and Helen Thompson in Pampa, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school classes from 1980-1995.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Thompson
She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Cupell and husband Alan of Canyon and her son, Gary Jackson and wife Debbie of Amarillo, two brothers, Guy Thompson of Pampa, and Robert Thompson of Rock Springs, Wyoming, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and a longtime special friend, Wilson Huff.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
