Enriqueta Valdez

Enriqueta was born on July 15, 1921, in Fort Worth, Texas to George and Lorenza Barbosa. Ms. Barbosa married her lifelong friend Albert Valdez in the spring of 1942.They raised their family in Texas, finally settlng in Amarillo in 1970, where she was a barber for 15 years. She loved her family and serving her Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.Proceded in death by her parents; two brothers George and Luis Barbosa; her husband in 1967; and two daughters, Maria, and Juanita; one son, John.Survivors include, three sisters, Lorenza Garza of Kansas, Marcelinna Barbosa, and Emelia Trevin of Laredo, Texas; seven sons, Albert and his wife, Karen of SC, Louis and his wife, Jerrie Ann, Frank and his wife, Marsha, David, Victor, Walter, all of Amarillo, Robert and his wife, Georgina of AZ; four daughters, Linda Valdez, Dellisa Valdez of Fort Worth, Yolanda Morris and her husband, Doug of Amarillo, Denise King and her husband, Robert of OK; 31 grandchildren, 44 Great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
