Eui Tae “Paul” Kim, 50, of Amarillo died September 10, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 14, 2012 in Paramount Baptist Church Sanctuary, 3801 South Western, with Pastor Koo Hongnak officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Mr. Kim was born January 13, 1962 in Taegu, Korea. He attended Theological school in Korea before coming to America. Paul received his Master of Theology from Liberty Theological School. Paul completed the D.Min Course at Mid-Western Theological Seminary in Kansas City. He served as the Associate Pastor at Holy Gospel Church in Korea and then became the Youth and Associate Pastor of Sintanjin Baptist Church in Korea. He then served in Wales as the Pastor of Korean Ministry and Missionary. While in Amarillo he served as the Senior Pastor of Canyon Korean Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; his sons, Isaac, Irae, Eun, and Jean; one sister, and one brother.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be made to the children’s college fund at Amarillo National Bank.
