Evelyn Clark Hollis

Mrs. Hollis was born February 6, 1911 in Owatonna, Minnesota to George and Juliett Clark. She married Harry G. Hollis on June 30, 1929 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1979. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist church for over 60 years. She was a past worthy matron of the Amarillo Chapter #787 of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by several cousins, Jimmie Foster of Amarillo, Bill Foster of St. Simons Island, GA, Vivian Rogers of Dallas, Elwyn Clark of Lubbock and Helen Dressler of Ames, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Polk Street United Methodist Church, 1401 S. Polk, Amarillo, Tx 79102.
