Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Llano Mausoleum.Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.)Florene was born May 4th, (year of birth not to be mentioned) to Fountain F Monroe and Ruby Monroe in Amarillo, Texas.  She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school Outreach Leader.  She attended Business College and graduated from Holmes School of Shorthand.  She was a longtime employee of Pioneer Natural Gas Corp. as a legal secretary and administrative assistant.  She also volunteered at Perkins Center since 1989.She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Bobby Ray OwensShe is survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins
