GRAVESIDE services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Floyd was born in Lebenon, Missouri on October 5, 1959. Floyd was a caring man that loved life. He was a devout Christian who loved taking his two youngest to church every Sunday. He was an ordained minister and had the privilege of officiating the marriage ceremony of his son. He fought for his life until the very end.
Floyd was a diesel mechanic for the most of his life, working at the 76 Truck stop, Tow brothers and Amarillo Truck Center. He was known as the best suspension technician in town.
He loved working on anything that had wheels and enjoyed going to the river with friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing camping, off roading and macramé.
The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6PM until 7PM
Floyd was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Bennett, his father Edwin Hinman and his siblings, Janice Hinman, Mary and George Hofmaydr and Marlon Stephens, mother of Chrystal Leah Tabor.
He is survived by his children, Zechariah Tabor and his wife Stephanie of Amarillo, Joe Tabor and his wife Crystal of Austin and their mother Debra Tabor of Amarillo, Chrystal Leah Tabor of Amarillo, Emma Tabor, Lilly Tabor, Christopher Edgar, Jonathan Edgar and his wife Dorothy, Justin Sinks and husband Kenton and their mother Shannon Sinks all of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Nickolas Grabber, Ava Edgar and Emory Posey; his mother Juanita Hinman of Ponca City, OK; his siblings, Diana Tabor of Wagone, OK, Shirley Moore and husband Bryan of San Diego, CA, Phillip Tabor and wife Chelle of Ratcliffe, Kentucky and Rebecca Watts and husband Cliff of Centennial, CO; his best friend Lee Thomas; his loving dog, Bear and Many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
