Frank B. Reyes

Frank B. Reyes, 85, of Amarillo died April 1, 2021.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N. Spring St. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Frank was born August 11, 1935 in Turlock, CA. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Frank married Mickie Bitela on September 7, 1959 and together they were members of St. Laurence Catholic Church. Frank was a longtime member of Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He donated his time helping in Amarillo. Frank enjoyed working at the food bank, doing any type of volunteer work. He was an excellent social worker and always went above and beyond to assist veterans and those in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents; oldest brother, George Reyes, Jr.; twin brothers, Don and Ron Reyes; sister, Eva Reyes Dongaran; and son, Robert Lynn Reyes.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mickie B. Reyes of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dees and husband, David of Canyon, TX; son, Daniel Lee Reyes of Amarillo, TX; brothers, Herbert Reyes and wife, Judy of Las Vegas, NV and Marvin Reyes and wife, Ellen of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Alana Dees, James Dees and Robynn Dees; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Aiyana; as well as many nieces and nephews.
