Frank Rocha Jr, age 80, of Amarillo, entered heaven on July 22, 2023, at home, surrounded by his family.

Rosary will be Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 South Georgia.  Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 North Spring.

That's the simple definition of family, but the unity my grandparents created and instilled in us for generations to come is beyond a simple definition.  The loss we have all endured in the past years is indescribable, and we will forever cling to the special memories each one of them left us with.

Today we lost a pillar in our family, Frank Rocha, Jr.; Our Kiko was the uncle that opened his doors to everyone.  We spent countless hours barbecuing, visiting, and dancing in his basement.  His home was a constant in our lives, and no matter the years that passed or how many remodels his house went through, when you walked through his doors, you knew you were home again.  He will be missed, but his legacy will remain strong!

Rocha family, it's time for us to unite and return our love and support to Kiko & Juana and their family.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents: sisters Mary Ann Garcia and Felipa Rodriguez; brothers John and Zeke Rocha; and a son Frank Robert Rocha III.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Janie; his sons Lester Rocha and wife Angela, Anthony Rocha and fiance Jennifer, and "Choco"; his daughters, Glenda Perez and her husband Chris, Jennifer Maes and her husband Ronald and Wendy Lara and her husband, Richard; sisters, Lola Garcia and Josie Cortez; brother, Robert Rocha; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Ashleigh, Abriana, Faith, Mea, Felecity, Anthony, Krystal, Danielle, Isaac, Shelly, Ferrah, Sophia, Patrick, Klorenda, Cholo, Mousie,and Bubba; and many great-grandchildren.
