Fred A. Roscoe, Jr., 80, died December 18, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Pastor Jay McGaughy officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Fred was born January 20, 1932 in Pelican, La to Fred A. and Lois Roscoe. He enjoyed spending time at the lake house that he and Fran built in Cedar Creek Lake. While there, he loved fishing, boating, and just simply being at the lake.
Survivors include his wife, Fran Roscoe; two daughters, Susan Lawrence and husband Marker, and Barbara Roscoe, ; his son Fred A. Roscoe III; six grandchildren, Susan, Cody, Jennifer, Austin, Fred IV, and Christopher; seven great-grandchildren; his step daughters, Denise, Terri, Stefanie, and Melanie; six step grandchildren; and one great-step grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be made to The National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016; or Odyssey Hospice, 6900 I-40 West, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
