Gannon Michael Spradling

Gannon Michael Spradling, 30, of Amarillo died October 20, 2013.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Hillside Christian Church West with Rev. Cameron Reeves officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Gannon was born March 16, 1983 in Amarillo to Mike Spradling and Eileen Miles Fox.  He graduated Amarillo High School in 2001 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University in 2006.  Gannon worked for the family business, Spradling Oil, and was the Vice President.  He was an avid Texas Tech Red Raider Football fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf.  He even enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys.

Gannon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Babe and Charlotte Spradling.

He is survived by his wife, Meredith Jane Spradling of Amarillo; his parents, Eileen Fox and husband Mark of Ft. Worth and Mike Spradling of Borger; a sister Jansyn Spradling of San Diego; a brother, Garrett Spradling of Borger; his grandparents, John and Carol Miles, Stover, MO; his parents-in-law, Morgan and Pam Salmon of Amarillo; his sister-in-law, Ashley and husband Josh Ashley of Amarillo; and a brother-in-law, Logan Salmon of Lubbock.

In lieu of flowers, the Gannon Michael Spradling Scholarship has been established and contributions may be made on-line at www.give2tech.com.  Checks should be made out to the Texas Tech Foundation, Inc. for the Gannon Michael Spradling Scholarship and mailed to:  Texas Tech University, Box 41081, Lubbock, TX 79409-1081, Attention:  Alicia Knight.
