Gary Mac Dryden, age 59, passed away on November 28, 2011, in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel. Inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2 in Dalhart Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Mr. Dryden was born March 18, 1952, to Merrill and Barbara Dryden in Dumas, Texas. Gary graduated from Hereford High School in 1970 and married Loretta Paetzold of Hereford on October 16, 1976.
Gary traveled all over the United States working in industrial construction making many life-long friends along the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Swimmer and Merrill Dryden.
Survivors include his wife Loretta of Canyon, Texas; daughter, Tara Gallegos and husband Patrick of Hudson, Ohio; son, Damon Dryden of Syracuse, Utah; brothers, Van Dryden and wife Nicole of Amarillo, Scott Dryden and wife, Deneen of Wichita, Kansas; Rick Hays and wife, Sherry of Glencoe, Oklahoma; a sister, Jennifer Harris of Gruver; grandchildren, Jordan, Isaac, Sydney and Abram Gallegos.
