Gaylene Kreitz

Gaylene Kreitz, 69, of Amarillo died Sunday, September 9, 2018.

Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at St. Martin’s de Porres, 1507 N. Adams St. Mass and burial will follow at St. Mary’s in Pinoak. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Gaylene was born September 28, 1948 in Auckland, New Zealand to Graham and Rose Peart. She married Clifford Kreitz on August 30, 1980 in Canyon.

She worked for several years as an office manager at Brown & Graham in Canyon. Later she worked as a claims manager for Dr. Robert Ehle.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Noeline Kinloch; and Bill and Mildred Sloss of whom she loved dearly as second parents.

Gaylene is survived by her husband, Clifford; 1 daughter, Jackie Keever and husband, Walter of Lincoln, NE; 1 son, Andrew Kreitz and Sally Ford of Austin; 2 sisters, Patricia Peart and Naida Peart, both of Australia; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
