Mr. Downey was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 10, 1929 to George E. and Alice Downey. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.A graduate of Merck University, he worked in pharmaceutical sales until his retirement. Mr. Downey is survived by his friends and the country he so proudly served.
