Govan ‘Govie” Alan Mills, age 50 of Fritch died August 28th in Fritch.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel. Chaplain Sherman Eastland of Odyssey Hospice will officiate. Burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Govie was born in Medicine Lodge, Kansas to Govan and Naomi Mills on August 14, 1963. He worked renovating hotels throughout the country. He was a loving son, brother, father and uncle.
Govie was preceded in death by his father, Govan and by his sister Jamie Kidwell.
He is survived by his mother, Naomi and her husband Dr. Allan Oltjen of Canyon; two sons, Brandon Mills of Alabama and Cody Culp, currently serving in the US Army stationed in Hawaii; his sister Gwen Mills of Amarillo; a step-sister, Traci Farris of Weatherford; and a step brother, Bret Oltjen and his wife Angela of Temple.
