Grace Brokens

Grace was born July 31, 1927 in Medford, OK to George and Mamie Grace Callaway. Grace was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She met and married Gerald Penny on May 29, 1949. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1976. She married George Brokens on January 10, 1981 at Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved to play golf.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two daughters, Kathy Mahan and Janice Graham.
She is survived by her husband, George of Amarillo; two daughters, Connie Smart and husband Jerrie of Amarillo; Susan Arnett and husband Jack of Tampa, FL; two stepdaughters, Geri Hulsey and husband Art; and Susan Barnes and husband Gary, both of Amarillo; one stepson, Martin Brokens of Amarillo; thirteen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
