Mrs Grace Holloway

Grace Holloway age 84 of Amarillo died Saturday June 25, 2011.
Memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday June 29, 2011 in Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. David Schatte officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Grace was born in Dixon, Illinois to Rev. Lloyd Warren Walter and Grace Cooper Walter on June 6, 1927. She graduated from Duke University and Northwestern; she worked as a physical therapist at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Amarillo.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years and a member of the Panhandle Bird Club. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at the Craig Retirement Center using her dogs for pet therapy.
Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford K. Holloway in 2008; one brother; and her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Suedell McWhorter and husband, Danny of Amarillo, and Sarah Holloway of El Paso; a son, Tom Holloway and wife, Jane of Pleasant Hill, Ore.; and seven grandchildren, Jake and wife Kelly, Jedd, Laura, Austin, Tyler, Lisa and Clayton.
