Gregory K. Smith, 54, of Amarillo died December 1, 2014.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2014 in First Baptist Church Sanctuary with Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Greg was born on April 23, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Amarillo High School where he had friends from all walks of life. He graduated in 1978 where he began working for Pruitt Supply; starting his lifelong legacy in electrical supply business. Greg married Karla Cline Smith on August 3, 1979. They were blessed with 2 children, Jeremy and Eschle.

On September 1, 1988 Greg and Karla joined the Techline Family. He was instrumental in building Techline into what it is today. While Greg achieved great success as a business man, he will always be defined by his character, humility, loyalty, faith and love of family and friends. To say that Greg Smith was an extraordinary human being is an understatement and to know him was to be blessed by him.

Greg Smith suffered a heart attack and went to be with The Lord that he depended on and worshipped.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Linvell Lee Smith and his father-law, Clive Carlos Cline.

Greg is survived by his wife, Karla Cline Smith, of 35 years; his son, Jeremy and wife, Kingslee; his Granddaughter, Lillith Grace, of Antonito, Colorado; his daughter, Eschle of Amarillo, Texas; his mother, Ruth Smith, brother, Rick, of Amarillo, Texas; his mother-in-law, Ann Cline and brother- in-law, Kirk Cline and family of Amarillo, Texas.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
