Griselda Salazar Garcia, 47, of Amarillo died March 8, 2014.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Pastor James Collins of Mount Zion Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Griselda was born November 17, 1966 to Alejandro Salazar and Vera Salazar. She graduated from Odessa High School and attended CNA school. She married Tony Garcia on July 4, 1997. Griselda was always there for you. Her favorite time was spending time with her grandchildren and family was very important to her. She was a phenomenal mother.
Griselda is survived by her parents, Alejandro Salazar, and Vera Tercero Salazar; her husband, Tony; her daughters, Adriana Garcia of Amarillo, and Netty Narvais and husband Joe of Lubbock; her sons, Arturo Salazar and wife Monica and James Salazar both of Amarillo; her brothers, Oscar Salazar and Cesar Salazar; and four grandchildren, McKensee Salazar, Marcus Salazar, Madiline Salazar and Christian Narvais.
The family suggests memorials to Griselda’s grandchildren’s college fund at Amarillo National Bank.
