Harold was born July 22, 1932, to Randell and Edith Green in Sayre, OK. He married Wilma Janell Wilson in 1951. He was a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Harold served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. After serving in the Army, he and Wilma moved to Amarillo in 1957. He worked for Pantex from 1957 until his retirement in 1995. He also was a welding instructor at TSTI for several years. After retirement, he went on to volunteer at Northwest Texas Hospital in the Auxiliary as the “Popcorn Man.”
SURVIVORS include his beloved wife, Wilma; his son, Alan Green and wife Amie of Wichita, KS; his two daughters, Cindy Whiddon and husband Larry of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lisa DeLeon and husband Robert of Coppell, Texas; his brother, Jerry Green and wife Karen of Duncan, OK; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
