Harvey Gene Campbell, 80, died Thursday, December 12, 2013.
Visitation will be from 4-5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 16 in Brentwood Chapel at Schooler Funeral Home with Mr. Lonnie Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Harvey was born July 6, 1933 in Amherst, Texas to Claude and Anna Belle Perkins Campbell. He graduated from Levelland High School and married Viva Elliott in 1951 in Levelland.
Early in his life, Harvey worked for City Service in Levelland. He also worked in sales. He was owner of Campbell’s TV and Appliance. He also owned the Junkyard Antique Store on Sixth Street for many years.
Harvey loved people and enjoyed life. In lieu of memorials the family wishes everyone to have a fond memory of Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kristy Nussbaum and husband Philip of Amarillo; two sons, Gary Claude Campbell of Amarillo and Chuck Allen Campbell of St. Petersburg, Florida; five grandchildren, Steven, Richard, Amie, William, and Elizabeth; and nine great-grandchildren.
