Hazel Christine Wood, 85, of Amarillo died Monday, April 02, 2012 in Amarillo.
No Services are planned at this time; the family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wood was born and raised in Lexington, Georgia. She served as a Navy spouse for 30 plus years. She was a member at Stephens Grove Baptist Church. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three sons – Richard Duwayne Wood, Jr and wife Lydia, David W. Wood, and Leslie Dennis Wood and wife, Debbie. Her two sisters, Doris Hurst and Tommie Campbell, a brother Bobby Clarke, Two Grandsons – Jeff Wood and Greg Wood, and 4 great-grandchildren.
