Helen Lyles, 89 of Amarillo died Friday, May 31, 2013.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon on June 4, 2013 with Rev. Corky Holland officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia.
Helen was born in South Plains to Matt and Minnie Lyles. Most of her adult life she worked at Bivins Nursing Home and Amarillo Canine Country Club until retirement in 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Minnie; 6 sisters, Vera, Elma, Audrey, Johnnie, Mary, and Anne Mae; 3 brothers, Omer, and Clarence, and Roy.
She is survived by sister, Tangy Hargis and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorials be made to your favorite charity.
