Dr. Henry Gail Norrid D.O., 71, of Amarillo died February 21, 2012.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6-7:00 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Dr. Norrid was born June 4, 1940 to Henry and Johnie Norrid. He was an accomplished physician and surgeon. Practicing for over 40 years, he was able to serve and help save lives of those in need in New York, Missouri, and Texas. Dr. Norrid enjoyed spending time with family and talking to people. He was a loving father, brother, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his two sons, Joshua Andrew Norrid of Irving, Tx and Noah Adam Norrid of Copenhagen, Denmark; two brothers Olin Norrid of Amarillo, and C.W. “Dub” Norrid of McKinney; one sister, Carol Jones of San Saba, TX’ two grandchildren, Anton Emil Norrid, and Buster Hudson Norrid both of Copenhagen, Denmark.
