Henry White age 86 of Amarillo died October 30, 2011.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday November 2, 2011 in Brentwood Chapel, Schooler Funeral Home, with Chaplain Sherman Eastland with Odyssey Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mr. White was born April 24, 1925 in Parmer County, Texas to Albert and Bessie White. Henry graduated from Farwell High School in 1943. He married Roberta Saunders March 27, 1948 in Amarillo. Henry enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading his treasure hunting magazines, and spending time with his family. Henry earned a marine radio and business diploma from Port Arthur College and he worked at KGNC for 45 years until his retirement. Henry was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in the death by his wife Roberta “Robbie”, parents; 2 Brothers, Wilbert and Milbert,
Survivors include three daughters, Beverly White of Amarillo, Janis White of Albuquerque, and Doris White of Lubbock; one son, Scott White of Irving; his brothers, Gwynne W. White of Amarillo and Joel Preston White of Farwell, TX, a sister, Theda Taylor of Amarillo, and his dog Tippi.
