Hope Nielsen, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 in Amarillo, TX.
Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 4500 West Hills Trail, with Rev. James Schmitmeyer as celebrant. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Texas 79110.
Hope was born January 9, 1950 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She graduated from Tascosa High School with honors, and then received her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University before graduating with her Master’s Degree in Law from St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio. She practiced as an attorney in Family law. She spoke 5 languages and loved all kinds of animals.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by many loving cousins and her special friend, Brenda Talbott and her husband, Bryan and their loving family.
